Best Products of CES 2020

And that’s a wrap with CES 2020. With all the technologies that have been released or teased on the show floor, it seems like 2020 is going to be an amazing year for all of us who love gadgets and technologies. For now, we just picked our favorites from CES 2020 and the versatility of the products shows how technology has evolved brilliantly over the years.

Like every year, CES 2020 began with some outstanding releases such as the Samsung Zero-Bezel 8K TV and the Segway-Ninebot S-Pod. The product designs for this year seemed more realistic and unconventional at the same time. For example, Netatmo came up with a set of smart door locks with keys. Although smart door locks are nothing new, the addition of smart keys to the setup makes it a whole new system altogether.

On the other hand, CES 2020 also saw a lot of software and technology releases, including the Samsung Project Neon. Whether or not it’s just a hype, the fact that artificial humans are being tested and teased at a show like CES only makes us think about how big the future is going to be like. However, the package-delivery bots from Digit being on sale are the best futuristic launch so far.

We just went ahead and looked into all the best products from CES 2020 and got our list of favorites.

Segway-Ninebot S-Pod Two-Wheeled Vehicle

Sit back and relax on your way to work in the Segway-Ninebot S-Pod Two-Wheeled Vehicle. This vehicle balances on its own as you ride in it in a seated position. In fact, this self-balancing wheelchair can use its two primary wheels to travel at a maximum speed of 24 miles per hour. Considering that’s quite a bit faster than you can walk—and sometimes drive, depending on traffic—it should get you to work on time. And it technically has three more small wheels on the underside to make the Segway S-Pod easier to transport when you’re not riding in it.

Nanoleaf Learning Series Smart Lighting

The Nanoleaf Learning Series Smart Lighting goes beyond beautiful lighting, which the company already mastered. This new series actually learns what your lighting preferences are so you don’t have to do as much work. Built with U-IQ sensors, this smart lighting collection includes three gadgets. There’s a Learning Button, a Learning Light Bulb, and a Learning Switch. Each of these devices works together so the Nanoleaf lights create just the atmosphere you’re accustomed to.

Samsung Zero-Bezel 8K TV

The new Samsung Zero-Bezel 8K TV sets a benchmark in television designs with its Infinite Display. The TV is said to come without any frame and is just 15mm thick. Additionally, the television will come with a digital butler that will allow you to control it with other hardware via Bluetooth, WiFi, and even older non-internet connected devices. In fact, the television can also mirror content from a mobile device with just a touch using “Tap View”.

Digit Bipedal Robot

The robot comes in the size and shape of a small adult human. With the help of LIDAR and other sensors, the robot can identify environments and easily deliver packages weighing up to 40 pounds (18 kilograms). Use it in a variety of locations, like logistics, warehouses, telepresence, and industrial inspection. Although Digit can perform its operations autonomously, it cannot adapt to new operations as easily as a human. Likewise, the primary purpose of designing this robot was to make package delivery seamless in the future.

Samsung Sero TV

This TV is unique because it can rotate vertically for your social media content from Instagram or TikTok. The clever rotating design of this 43-inch 4K TV makes it super easy for you to blend your social media content with your TV. Additionally, the Sero also includes an integrated, non-removable stand with a 4.1-channel, 60-watt speaker system inside. The stand will not let the TV touch the ground whenever it switches from the portrait to the landscape mode.

Bosch Virtual Vehicle Visor

You won’t have to take your hands off the wheel with the Bosch Virtual Vehicle Visor in your car. This virtual gadget adjusts itself depending on where the sun is. In doing that, it’s able to consistently block the sun from impeding your view. Additionally, this car visor is made entirely of an LCD panel, so it makes the most of its space. With its driver-facing camera, this virtual visor knows exactly where you are at all times.

Jabra Elite 45h Wireless Headphones

Affordable, high-quality headphones can sometimes feel like a chore to find. But with the Jabra Elite 45h Wireless Headphones, you won’t have to sacrifice quality for the price. These over-ear headphones feature 40mm speakers and 40 hours of battery life. And they have fast-charging capabilities. That means you won’t need to worry about running out of a charge before you head out of the house. In just fifteen minutes, you can have up to eight hours of charge.

Netatmo Smart Door Lock and Keys

If you are looking for a smart home security system that is truly worth a try, the Netatmo Smart Door Lock and Keys is what you must look forward to. The keys in this system are customizable, impossible to duplicate, and you can deactivate or reactivate them with just one click from the app. These smart keys work just like any other conventional key but if they are lost or stolen, your home’s security is not at risk. With the app, you can also activate a new set of Smart Keys by yourself.

Colgate Plaqless Pro Smart Electric Toothbrush

You can rest assured that your mouth is as clean as possible with the Colgate Plaqless Pro Smart Electric Toothbrush. This device detects biofilm buildup in your mouth so it can effectively target and remove it. In fact, this smart toothbrush has a light ring that turns blue when it detects biofilm buildup. Then, after you’ve effectively brushed that area to remove the buildup, the Plaqless Pro light turns white. You don’t have to worry about singing the ABCs or brushing for two minutes with this gadget—you’ll know when you’ve brushed enough.

HP Envy 32 All-in-One

The HP Envy 32 All-in-One is an ideal match for those who consider big table-top PCs their best work companion. This one is packed with powerful features. These include a 31.5-inch 4K HDR screen, powerful Bang & Olufsen speakers, and NVIDIA graphics. In fact, it’s also one of the first all-in-ones to support HDR at 600 nits of brightness. Creators will surely fall for it because the screen covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 standard with 10 bits of color depth. The speaker setup, on the other hand, comes with two tweeters, two medium drivers, a woofer and two passive radiators.

LG 2020 NanoCell LCD TV Collection

You’ll seriously impress your guests with a television from the LG 2020 NanoCell LCD TV Collection. That’s because these LCD TVs offer stunning picture quality to immerse you in your entertainment. You can choose either the 75-inch model or from among three 65-inch models in the 2020 NanoCell TV collection. Additionally, the 65-inch options offer either 4K quality or 8K quality while the 75-inch TV comes in 8K only.

JBL TUNE 220TWS Wireless Earbuds

Going with the latest norm of staying connected but not wired, the JBL TUNE 220TWS Wireless Earbuds come as a cool competition for the Apple AirPods. With a 12.5mm driver featuring JBL Pure Bass Sound, these earbuds are truly packed with great sound quality. They also come with 19 hours of combined playback which is commendable to have from an everyday gadget. In fact, they give you up to 3 hours of nonstop sound plus another 16 hours from the pocket-sized charging case.

Panasonic VR Glasses

These Panasonic VR Glasses look amazing and actually look pretty awesome with their steampunk/ski goggle vibe. What’s even cooler is that these virtual reality goggles support HDR, which makes everything look super realistic. Panasonic uses their Technics drivers in the earbuds to provide fantastic sound, and the goggles themselves have micro-HDR panels. One of the best things about these goggles is that you won’t see that fuzzy quality that you see in a lot of headsets, almost as if you’re looking through a screen door.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Foldable PC

It may not boast two screens, but the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold Foldable PC does something else. This single-screen device folds up to the point where it looks like a book or journal. So when you’re not using it, its screen stays protected in your bag. And this folding ThinkPad isn’t just a combination of two screens. When fully open, this foldable ThinkPad has a maximum viewing area of 13.3 inches—which is all OLED, by the way. When you’d prefer to use two separate screens, like a book or laptop, each one is 9.6 inches.

HP Elite Dragonfly G2 Laptop

Designed primarily for those working on the go, the new HP Elite Dragonfly G2 Laptopgoes one step further with 5G connectivity and Tile tracking. So, you can easily locate your laptop if you misplace it with the Tile app. The 5G connectivity is currently only with Sprint with more carriers to join the network in the coming days. What makes this laptop worth a try is an impressively lightweight design that weighs only 2.2 pounds (or about 0.99kg). You can easily make it a compact and powerful laptop with up to eighth-generation Intel Core vPro chips with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
